  • What unique angle or perspective can they bring?
  • What makes them a good fit beyond just checking boxes?

Write a cover letter following this structure:

OPENING (2-3 sentences)

  • Hook that shows you understand the role
  • Not "I am writing to apply for..."
  • Show enthusiasm and knowledge of the company

BODY (2 paragraphs)

  • First: Your most relevant experience that directly addresses their top need
  • Second: Another key qualification or unique value you bring
  • Be specific—examples and outcomes, not just claims

CLOSING (2-3 sentences)

  • Reiterate fit and enthusiasm
  • Clear call to action
  • Professional but warm

Present the draft and offer to:

  • Adjust tone (more formal/casual)
  • Emphasize different experiences
  • Add or remove specific details
  • Make it shorter or more detailed
