Requirements
Current team structure, projected growth, key projects requiring new hires
1

  • Budget constraints or headcount limits?
  • Any roles already approved vs. new requests?

If they have a list of potential hires, ask for it to structure into a plan.

Generate phased hiring roadmap: executive summary, quarterly breakdown with prioritized
roles and rationale, detailed role justifications (why, what, timing, alternatives),
team structure evolution diagram, risks and dependencies, and budget summary with
recruiting timeline estimates.

5

Present the roadmap and offer:

  • "Want me to draft job descriptions for any of these roles?"
  • "Should I create a presentation version for leadership approval?"
  • "Need help with the business case for headcount requests?"
