Prepare Exec Update
Requirements
Weekly or period summary, achievements, blockers, asks for leadership
1
Ask the user for update context:
- Who are you briefing? (VP, Director, C-level)
- What period does this cover? (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
- What were the key achievements or progress?
- What blockers or challenges are you facing?
- What do you need from leadership? (decisions, resources, air cover)
- Any context on what they're most interested in?
If they have notes or a status update, ask them to share it for synthesis.
4
Generate exec update: TL;DR headline, achievements with quantified impact, in-progress
status table, blockers with proposed solutions and specific asks, and next period
priorities. Lead with outcomes, not activities. Keep asks specific and actionable.
5
Present the talking points and offer:
- "Want me to make this more concise or detailed?"
- "Should I draft a written version for email?"
- "Need help preparing for likely questions?"
