  • What's changed since last update?
  • What questions have stakeholders asked?

AUDIENCE

  • Who will read this summary?
  • What do they care most about?
  • What level of detail do they need?

Create stakeholder summary:

STRATEGIC CONTEXT (2-3 sentences)

  • Where we're headed
  • Why these priorities

KEY THEMES (3-5)
For each theme:

  • Theme name and one-sentence rationale
  • Top 1-2 initiatives
  • Expected timeframe (Now/Next/Later or Quarter)

WHAT'S CHANGED

  • New additions
  • Reprioritized items
  • Items moved out

WHAT WE'RE NOT DOING

  • 2-3 items explicitly deprioritized
  • Brief explanation why

Tailor for audience:

  • Executive: Focus on outcomes and business impact
  • Sales/CS: Customer-facing changes and timelines
  • Engineering: Technical dependencies and sequencing
  • Board: Strategic narrative and progress on goals
